It is an interdisciplinary project based on current enormous historical Chinese collections at Angus archive of Regents. It includes manuscripts, photos, letters, publications covering 19th century and first half 20th century. The areas of research projects will restore history, geography, education, hospitals, theology, history of women, social issues etc of China then. The Angus Library and Archive is a treasure trove filled with gems waiting to be discovered by leading history researchers of that particular period from Tsinghua University.
The projects will be expected to generate publications and reports. These items and themes can be explored through a variety of ways such as annual workshops, biannual exhibitions etc.
